Roasting Dishes
- Round Roasting Dishes are used for metallurgical tests requiring the roasting of ores prior to the Assay process.
- Rectangular Roasting Dishes have a wide spectrum of use. They are designed to allow for the roasting or incinerating of many materials within the maximum recommended temperature allowance.
Material compositions available: Fused Silica and/or Sillimanite Maximum recommended temperature:
Fused Silica: 2750 deg. F. (1510 deg. C.) Sillimanite: 2400 deg. F. (1316 deg. C.)
Mix Compositions:
- Fireclay: Maximum recommended temperature for use: 2000 deg. F. (1093 deg. C.) Sizes: 2.4" and 3" diameter
- Colorado: Maximum recommended temperature for use: 2400 deg. F. (1315 deg. C.) -Sizes: 4", 5", 6", 8" and 10" diameters
